Avant: Rowan University's literary arts publication over 50 years in the making. As Head Layout Editor for Avant I was responsible for running editorial meetings, collecting submissions, proofing, designing, and printing 4 semesterly magazine editions.

Art concentration piece entitled "Always Learning"
"A Parted Body" - Original concept painting surrounding the story of a man who loses his lover in NYC during a protest march. Images throughout the series depict the main character as an amalgamation of body parts floating through unfamiliar spaces as he searches for his love. The images are representative of the main characters internal emotional struggle. Confused, frustrated, and hopeless, the main character becomes less an less recognizable as he plummets into disarray. That is until his lover finds him, just as distraught and disfigured. The story ends with the two embracing each other, slowly returning to their normal selves.
